RENAL CALICULI OR KIDNEY STONES OR NEPHRO LITHIASIS
A kidney stone is a hard, crystalline mineral material formed within the kidney or urinary tract. The stones are more common in men than in women. Most of the urinary stones develop in people 20 to 49 years of age and people who had already have more than one kidney stone , people using certain medications which are more susceptible to their development.
Causes :
- Dehydration from the reduced fluid intake or strenuous exercise with out adequate fluid
- Obstruction to the flow of urine
- The different medical conditions increases the risk of developing kidney stones such as gout, hyper calcimia
- Diabetes, hypertension, high salt diet, excessive sugar, excessive vitamin D
Early symptoms :
- Sudden onset of cramping pain in lower back associated with nausea and vomiting
- Bloody urine, if the infection persists with fever and chills
- Difficult urination

- Penile or testicular pain
- Burning while passing urine and cloudy ,foul smelling urine
